Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our facilities team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities through various cleaning tasks. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about keeping spaces tidy and organized.
Duties
- Perform a variety of custodial tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Clean and maintain high-traffic areas, including lobbies, hallways, and break rooms
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment, such as scrubbers and buffers
- Use commercial cleaning products to thoroughly clean surfaces
- Maintain the cleanliness of bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, and mirrors
- Paint and finish surfaces as needed
- Perform porter duties, including moving furniture and emptying trash
- Ensure the facility is free of clutter and debris
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the facilities team
- Maintain the cleanliness of windows, doors, and other exterior surfaces
Qualifications
- Experience in custodial or facilities maintenance
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor
- Familiarity with commercial and industrial cleaning equipment and products
- Knowledge of residential painting and finishing techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks for extended periods
- Ability to follow safety protocols and guidelines
- Reliable and punctual with a commitment to meeting deadlines
Skills
- Custodial and cleaning experience
- Knowledge of floor care and industrial cleaning
- Experience in facilities maintenance

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $75.00 per day
