Become part of our team! We are seeking a Seasonal Housekeeping/Laundry Specialist for a private residential community and sporting club unlike any other.
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Seasonal Housekeeper/Laundry Specialist is responsible for providing cleaning services to offices, common amenities, accommodations, and laundry services with continuing effort to deliver outstanding service.

Ensures all operational and safety procedures are properly followed.

Ensure and maintain cleanliness, service and produce quality standards of public spaces, restrooms, offices, meeting areas, and conference rooms in accordance with local health, and company sanitation/safety standards.

Ensure proper usage of chemicals and cleaning supplies.

Perform complete detail cleaning.

Perform daily housekeeper services, strip, and make beds, clean bathrooms, and vacuum and mop.

Wash, dry and fold – towels / robes and any other applicable linens.

Discard trash.

Clean kitchens including dishes and appliances.

Dust and clean furniture, computers, telephones.

Stock amenities.

Provide washing, drying, folding, and pressing of all linens.

Pick up and deliver laundry from departments.

Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Perform repetitive motions.

Knowledge of sewing.

Able to work weekends and holidays and occasional overtime.

Must have a valid driver license.

May require adjusted work schedules to meet deadlines.

Regular attendance and timeliness are required.

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions for this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. Must frequently lift and/or move items over 25 pounds. Must have the ability to work under variable temperatures; hot and cold. May be exposed to human body fluids. Must be physically present.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Two years’ experience with housekeeping/laundry in a hospitality related industry preferred.
