Schedule:
DAY SHIFT (Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm)
Essential Functions:
(Rover/Runner)
- Ensure overall cleanliness of distribution center.
- Collect and properly dispose of cardboard slips, broken pallets, trash, plastic wrap, and debris.
- Be certified on and safely operate any assigned machinery. Only certified employees can operate machinery.
- Dispose of any plastic in approved warehouse baler(s).
- Keep aisle(s) free of any safety hazards to product, equipment, and employees.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment where meeting deadlines is critical to business operations and company/client relationship.
- Need to move frequently and efficiently to varying locations in the warehouse to complete daily job tasks.
(Aisle Cleaner)
- Working independently or in a team setting.
- Pulling, pushing, lifting, using a manual pallet jack, and walking for majority of the shift.
- May involve walking long distances to clean up emergency spills.
- Cleaning up spills and picking up debris in aisles (Shrink wrap, cardboard, broken pallets, etc.)
- Disposing of any trash or debris in provided trash bins.
- Take supplies to assigned aisle(s), pull out the pallets in bays, mop the floor, wipe rails, and clean behind, underneath and around the bay. The pallet is to be placed back in its original position.
- Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects- as assigned by client and/or your direct report(s).
Other Requirements
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance in alignment with the company or specific location attendance policy.
- Execute all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards/procedures as set forth by the company, clients, and or regulatory authorities (OSHA).
- Communicate any deficiencies or repairs needed both equipment and structural to the Manager and/or Supervisor assigned to the team.
- Must successfully complete any required company and/or client training prior to starting employment and fulfill any necessary training requirements while employed.
- Must be able to understand and fully complete any documentation as required by the company and/or client.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to get to work.
- Must pass a background check prior to employment.
