Job Summary
We are seeking a part-time Janitor to join our team. The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment, ensuring spaces are safe and hygienic for all occupants. Monday-Wednesday and Friday 5:45am to 8am.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to disposal areas
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas including hallways, lobbies, and elevators
- Perform floor care duties such as buffing, waxing, and polishing
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to meet health and safety standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred
- Ability to perform facilities maintenance tasks effectively
- Experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a clean environment
