JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing food to the chef’s specifications and ensuring each dish meets our high standards for quality and presentation. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cooking, have strong attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, maintaining composure in a high-energy environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to food quality and safety.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Food Preparation:
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
Station Management
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients, ensuring efficiency and timeliness during service.
Cooking:
Grill, sauté, and fry foods as required, ensuring that all dishes are prepared consistently and accurately.
Presentation:
Plate and garnish dishes with an eye for detail, ensuring that every plate meets the restaurant's presentation standards.
Quality Control:
Maintain a clean and organized workspace; follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure food quality and safety.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other kitchen staff and communicate effectively to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Inventory:
Assist in inventory management by keeping track of stock levels and communicating any shortages to the Head Chef.
Cleaning:
Perform cleaning duties, including washing and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and work areas at the end of each shift.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
