Craftsmen Contractors is hiring for a Housekeeper for the Convent, La. area. We are needing someone who can help clean an office and some dorm rooms for a barge repair yard and cleaning facility. This is a long term position working day shifts from Monday thru Friday.
Pay rate is $17/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing for an office and dorm rooms.
- Clean and assure all dorm rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards (restock, shower, toilet, sink)
- Wipe down and disinfect all appliances in the kitchen area
- Vacuum and take out trash
- Refill paper towels,& soap dispensers
- Clean drink machines
- Clean windows, floors, wipe down walls and cabinets
Requirements:
- At least 1 - 2 years of Housekeeper experience
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Customer-oriented and friendly
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Working quickly without compromising quality
- Speak fluent English
- Will need to pass a pre-employment drug screen
