OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for cleaning public and back-of-house areas of hotel. Also responsible for transportation of linens and towels throughout the hotel; including re-stocking all storage areas and carts.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum lifting of 50lbs. Continuous pushing of 75 lbs.
- Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.
- Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, upward reaching.
- Some exposure to cleaning chemicals
- Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Practice the Basics of Brilliant Hosting at all times
- Responsible for cleaning of carpets
- Responsible for any and all cleaning projects assigned
- Continuously replenishing linens and supplies onto housekeeping attendant carts.
- Transport goods from the Loading Dock to Housekeeping as needed
- Assist Lobby or Housekeeping Supervisor as needed
- Keep store rooms orderly and clean
- Notify Supervisors when supplies in their departments are low
- Follow all steps listed on the Utility Houseman Daily Work Schedule
- Make sure time sequence is followed exactly as listed
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Marriott policy, procedures, training and associate involvement activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
