laundry equipment, controlling expenses and ensuring that all laundry is completed each day.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The Hotel operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting times, and hours worked in a week.
- Supervise the laundry staff; providing open communications, training, coach and counsel and provide performance feedback to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Assist Executive Housekeeper in the supervision of the laundry staff; assist in scheduling, train, provide open communication, coach and counsel and provide performance feedback to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Monitor the condition of all laundry equipment for proper maintenance, cleaning and repair to protect assets and ensure maximum efficiency and a safe work environment.
- Assist Executive Housekeeper in the control of linen inventories through maintaining accurate records on linen discarded.
- Act as a lead worker in operating all laundry equipment, sorting, processing for cleaning, folding, and ironing to ensure appropriate clean linens available for business level.
- Turns in all lost and found items and all guest room keys.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
- Follows safety and security procedures and rules.
- Knows department fire prevention and emergency procedures.
- Utilizes protective equipment.
- Reports unsafe conditions to management.
- Reports accidents, injuries, near-misses, property damage or loss to management.
- Provides for a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules.
- All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. (Specific standards outlined in team member handbook).
- Perform any related duties as requested by management.
- Assists other Housekeeping Personnel when need.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skill, and ability.
- Requires knowledge of the Laundry, Housekeeping and/or Hotel field.
- Knowledge of how to use laundry chemicals.
- One to two years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to understand and follow directions and perform job functions under limited supervision.
