Local commercial kitchen cleaning and maintenance company looking to hire full-time hood cleaning technicians. We work all shifts adhering to a schedule that you chose. No experience required; however, previous mechanical, electrical, HVAC, pressure washing, janitorial cleaning, or kitchen exhaust hood cleaning experience is helpful.
Technician must:
- MUST have a valid Driver's License with personal transportation to and from our office or the job site.
- Have a professional appearance
- Be dependable; able to show up on time, read and follow instructions
- Be able to climb ladders, able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. at times
- Have excellent attention to detail, and be able to work quickly and efficiently
- Be able to reliably work the schedule that you choose
- Be able to work safely in both hot, cold, and/or inclement weather
- Be able to complete work projects from start to finish with limited supervision
- Be able to learn new procedures quickly to assist with the exhaust cleaning process
Job duties include:
- The set-up and take-down of equipment including: hanging plastic sheeting, mixing chemicals, setting up ladders, wet/dry vacuums, pre-sprayers, garden hoses, and high-pressure hoses
- Pre-scraping greasy buildup from affected areas of kitchen exhaust systems
- Pressure washing the interior of kitchen exhaust systems (fans, ducts, and hoods)
- Final clean-up in kitchens by wiping down the hoods, mopping up the floors, etc.
- Digital photography of all work performed at each job
- Independent completion of work projects with limited supervision
- Reporting mechanical deficiencies of customer and/or company equipment to management
- Maintaining the cleanliness of company tools, equipment, and vehicles each night
- And other tasks as assigned

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
