We are opening a new location in Elko, Nevada to provide services to the mines in the area. We are seeking an energetic and committed team player to fill a new role of:
Warehouse Technician
Responsibilities:
- Receive and distribute materials to different teams on the site and record them in line with company processes and procedures.
- Perform the periodic stock inventory.
- Make a job hazard analysis with the team before starting activities and store materials safely.
- Ensure the cleaning of warehouses and report damage to equipment or tools.
- Assist with Audit process.
- Utilise the existing computerized system to manage stock.
- Experience in setting min and max, but not essential.
- Experience in stock code management of benefit, but not essential.
Qualifications:
- Sound numeracy skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to work effectively either as an individual or member of a team and relate effectively with staff on all levels.
- Proven ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to quickly learn new information, processes and procedures.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and identify and deal with problems.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite or other software related to stock management.
- High School education is a pre-requisite, College/University degree preferred.
- Previous experience in mining companies preferred, but not essential.
- Ability to interact with different cultures.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- At least 2 years’ inventory control experience.
- MS Excel experience (intermediate to advanced) is a must.
- Microsoft 365 applications knowledge (intermediate to advanced)
