POSITION TITLE: Event – Post Cleaning Supervisor– Housekeeping
NE – ($18.00 Hourly) - PT
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Post Cleaning Supervisor- Housekeeping will assist with supervision in maintaining the overall appearance and integrity of the facility and grounds to provide a superior experience to the tenants and guests of Raymond James Stadium.
In addition, the Event Cleaning Supervisor- Housekeeping shall follow the Authority operational policies and procedures designed to promote efficiency of operation, quality of service and a safe work environment.
POSITION REPORTS DIRECTLY TO: Facility Manager - Housekeeping
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees an Event or Post cleaning crew who are performing cleaning duties related to Suites, Clubs, Elevators, Escalators, Lobbies, Concourses, Restrooms, Seating bowl, Plazas, Gates, and other miscellaneous areas throughout the facility before, during and following an event at the facility.
- Set-up all required cleaning equipment for the area assigned.
- Gathers a team based on number of staff needed per the Event deployment or Post cleaning plan.
- Issues uniforms to assigned team and ensures all uniforms are returned at end of the shift.
- Issues keys, radios, equipment as needed and ensures all items are returned at end of the shift.
- Assigns staff according to cleaning deployments and cleaning plan.
- Assigns job assignments to staff according to cleaning plan.
- Direct and supervise contracted staffing during assigned tasks, performs routine inspections of staff during event and post clean job duties to ensure work is being performed properly and to building standards.
- Uses event deployments and post cleaning inspection checklist to confirm all staff are working in assigned locations.
- Submits staffing sign-out sheets at end of shift to designated manager at completion of shift, submits cleaning inspection checklist to designated manager at completion of shift.
- Provides direct communication to on site management regarding any facility issues and progress of the cleaning crew.
- Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings to share relevant information and gain feedback relating to methods to improve service to customers, both internal and external, and to insure efficient operations of the facilities and grounds for events.
- Keeps abreast of innovations, improvements in procedures, and developments within the operational aspects of our industry to seek better methods to improve efficiency, levels of service, personnel performance, and reducing operating costs.
- Assists in providing a safe environment free of harassment for department employees and ensure compliance with all Authority policies, applicable OSHA standards and local, state, and federal laws including the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
- Perform other duties, functions, special projects, and responsibilities, as assigned.
general requirements:
- The Event - Post Cleaning Supervisor- Housekeeping shall be knowledgeable in all operational rules, procedures, and programs of the Facilities Housekeeping Department.
- Position requires irregular schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; the performance of work assignments may not be directly related to job specifications. Adjustments of shifts, overtime, breaks, etc. may be required upon short notice.
- Position requires ability to interact with fellow employees, clients, the general public and outside vendors in a courteous, cooperative, and professional manner.
- Maintain a high public image, positive attitude and demeanor when performing a service for tenants and the general public in and around the facilities.
- Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time. Ability to lift over 50 lbs. and work in non-conditioned environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Minimum High School graduate or equivalent GED.
2. Two (2) years of previous experience in housekeeping / environmental services as a supervisor or lead person.
3. Ability to demonstrate general knowledge of cleaning chemicals, cleaning techniques / practices, equipment and services derived from large public venue.
4. Valid driver’s license and ability to operate commercial housekeeping equipment, preferred.
