Job Description
A Janitor maintains a clean, organized and healthy working environment for the organization or facility. They ensure areas of a building are sanitary, orderly and free of trash and debris. Must learn proper use of equipment and chemicals to avoid harming floors, fixtures, and themselves.
Job Responsibilities:

Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub, wax and polish office floors, carpets, hallways and stairs.

Dust furniture and fixtures.

Clean walls, windows, blinds, mirrors, ceilings, and light fixtures.

Disinfect commonly used items like door handles, office tools and phones.

Empty trash and recycling bins.

Stock and maintain supply rooms.

Perform minor repairs on machinery, equipment and tools.

Clean and maintain restrooms.

Move cabinets, boxes, furniture and other equipment to clean areas.

Education & Experience:
High School diploma plus one year of janitorial experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Paid Position Information:
$13.00 per hour
