Facility Custodian
Job title: Janitor/Custodian

Salary: Hourly - $18/hour
Tasks & Responsibilities:
· Restroom Cleaning
o Clean and disinfect the toilets
o Clean and disinfect the sinks
o Sweep the floor of debris
o Mop the floor with disinfectant
o Clean hard surfaces
o Replenish paper towel and toilet paper rolls
o Clean mirrors with glass cleaner
· Entrances and Exits
o Wipe and remove handprints from the doors
o Wipe and clean doorknobs
o Clean and air door mats
o Vacuum carpets
o Dust and clean any planters
o Wipe and clean lights and fixtures
o Remove cobwebs from ceilings and corners
o Sweep and mop floor, dry thoroughly
· Office Space Cleaning
o Dust all tables and desks
o Clean any spills and stains
o Clean the chair heads and arms
o Dust and clean all electrical gadgets
o Clean the windowpanes
o Vacuum the carpets and rugs, including under desks
· Canteen and Kitchen Area Cleaning
o Wipe and clean all visible surfaces
o Wipe and clean microwave inside and out
o Clean the sink and faucet
o Empty trash receptables, replace trash bags
o Sweep, mop and dry floor
o Restock office coffee, creamers, sugar and paper goods
· Additional items
o Manage inventory of cleaning supplies
o Establish and maintain par levels of cleaning supplies
o Additional tasks as required
Qualification / Skills Required:
· Commercial janitorial experience, preferred
· Proactive versus reactive problem solving
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Confidentiality is a must
· Excellent time management skills
· Knowledge of Safety guidelines when working with commercial grade chemicals
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
· Able to stand, kneel, squat and/or walk for extended periods of time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
