WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for reliable, hard working team members to join our growing spice company with day to day operations. This position includes tasks such as packaging, weighing, counting, recording, or even measuring items and different spices.
We are looking for a strong, motivated, and reliable problem solvers that are able to work independently and as a team member. This position requires communicating with different team members to accomplish the days goals, prep or upkeep of facility and sanitation as well as general packing duties.
Do you have food knowledge or enjoy unique ingredients? That is great but if not we will train you to our expected standard. How will we do this you ask? Our team will show you.
The desired candidate will have a sense of urgency, be ambitious, driven, and motivated. Hard worker, creative thinking, organized and ability to problem solve.

Day to day functions for this position include but are not limited working with team members to pick, pack, stock products.
Packaging of products consists of dry spices in whole and powder form. In this position you will be sealing, labeling, boxing, coding, general cleaning and record keeping. This position will include small ware washing, sweeping, mopping, wiping down countertops, shelfs etc as needed and with other team members as scheduled.
Responsibilities: Including but not limited to tasks mentioned above. While a team member most likely will not perform all these tasks on a given day, they will eventually do all of them throughout the week.
- Show up on time.. The job is M-F morning shift. Show up on time and lets get work done.
- Be motivated - We need you mentally and physically motivated and present.
- Safety is a priority. It is expected that you follow all safety standards and procedures.
- Take ownership and have a sense of urgency
- Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging and packing goods as assigned
- Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles.
- Loading and unloading of route delivery trucks.
- Take care of our products through proper handling and storage.
- Properly and efficiently preparing outgoing shipments - accurately keeping inventory.
- Assisting in locating and moving miscellaneous inventory.
- Label packaged products.
- Maintain a clean environment. This includes wiping down stations at the beginning and ending of shift, sweeping and mopping warehouse floor, cleaning bathrooms, taking out trash and other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Perform general warehouse tasks efficiently as assigned .
- Help out team members
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and within a small team
- Self motivator - stay busy and keep busy
- Accurate record keeping of lots, weightings, counts etc.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and handle items weighing up to 50 pounds on a routine basis.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written. We are a small team and as with any relationship comminution is a valuable asset.
- Must be able to stand or sit the majority of the day while performing duties of the job.
