Perform daily project assignments along with daily cleaning and maintenance of hard floor and carpets throughout the facility that is consistent with organization standards. Strips and refinishes floors. Dispose of bio-medical and hazardous waste as regulated. Perform the above in a manner that consistently delivers exceptional service to patients, guests and others. This position is exposed to hazardous materials and a variety of infectious diseases. Estimated pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00 / hour depending on experience.
High School Diploma, Certificate of Attendance, Certificate of Completion, GED, or equivalent training or experience.
- Floor care or environmental service experience preferred but not required.
- Department training provided.
- Proven excellent communication, interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively in the English language.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment with continuous exposure to cleaning agents and dust.
