As a national service industry provider, we are seeking a Full-time Lead to join our team. The focus of the role is to provide day to day outstanding cleaning and maintenance service to our customers.
Full time Union position : Morning shift 7 am to 4:00 pm
- Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as making sure proper PPE is being used and conducting inspections for safety and cleaning.
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
- Gather and empty trash
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
- Light Handyman work
Lead Responsibilities:
- Establish communication between A&A Maintenance Upper Management and Staff
- Advise A&A Management of any employee relation issues or concerns.
- Oversee staff day to day operations
Education and Experience Preferred:
- High School Degree or Equivalency preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in english and spanish.
- 5-10 years experience in the janitorial field.
- Floor care experience required.
- Experience in school environment perferred.
