Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented second shift (3pm - 11 pm) Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities. The ideal candidate has experience in industrial and commercial cleaning, as well as facilities maintenance. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, including restrooms, office areas, and break rooms
- Perform floor care duties, such as stripping, waxing, and buffing floors
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel
- Follow all safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals properly
Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Experience in industrial cleaning and commercial cleaning
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machinery
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
