Custodial/ Maintenance Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team. The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment, ensuring the facilities are safe and welcoming for all occupants. Basic Janitorial duties along with light maintenance is required of this full-time position.
Duties:
- Perform custodial duties such as cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing designated areas
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste
- Clean and disinfect restrooms and replenish supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through mopping, vacuuming, and buffing
- Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or fixing minor leaks
- Monitor and report any repairs or replacements needed within the facility
Experience:
- Proven experience in custodial, porter, or facilities maintenance roles
- Knowledge of commercial and industrial cleaning practices
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and pressure washers
- Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
