Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Facility Maintenance/Janitor to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the overall cleanliness, functionality, and safety of our facility. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks to maintain a high standard of operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the facility remains in excellent condition. This includes addressing minor repairs, reporting significant issues, and ensuring all areas are safe and operational.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the facility, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and waste disposal. Ensure all restrooms, common areas, and workspaces are clean and well-maintained.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of cleaning and maintenance supplies. Place orders for new supplies as needed to ensure there is no disruption in operations.
- Assist with the maintenance and minor repairs of equipment. Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and safely.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or maintenance needs immediately.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in facility maintenance, janitorial work, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures and equipment handling.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
