## Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities.
## Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Maintain and clean restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
- Handle waste disposal and recycling activities
- Conduct floor care duties including buffing, waxing, and polishing
- Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance issues
- Perform custodial duties to ensure a clean and safe environment
## Skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work preferred
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices and equipment
- Ability to maintain cleanliness in various settings such as offices, warehouses, or residential buildings
- Proficiency in floor care techniques including buffing and waxing
- Familiarity with residential painting tasks is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Previous experience as a porter or janitor is advantageous
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
