Position Summary:
- The Housekeeper / Environmental Services Associate I will be responsible for the cleanliness and service of hospital facilities. Work in assigned areas (patient care, offices, stairs, elevator, and others) inside and outside buildings. Care of cleaning equipment, effective expenditure of supplies (soaps, disinfectants, finishes, abrasive, polishes, and other cleaning supplies).
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness by utilizing the Seven Step Cleaning procedure on a daily basis. The Seven Step Cleaning Procedure is as follows: empty trash, high dust, damp wipe horizontal surfaces using germicidal cleaner, clean bathroom, dust mop, wet mop, inspect room for cleanliness.
- Has access to clean supply areas including, but not limited to IV solutions, needles, and syringes for the purpose of obtaining and restocking linen and/or supplies
- Must be able to handle cart and various other items weighing up to 70lbs. .
- Communicate professionally with patients and staff members. Check e-mails frequently to comply with hospital requirements. Use assigned computers for bed tracking purposes.
Shift:
Full-time, Day shift - (40 hrs per week)
Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm
Every other weekend required

Salary Range: Minimum $18.00 per hour - Maximum $26.33 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
