Who are we? You Bet Your Glass! Window Cleaning. I started this company nearly 3 decades ago – just me and a truck out washing windows. Over the years I built, expanded, and grew. Today we are market leaders who are DOMINATING the SE New Mexico and West Texas market with window cleaning, pressure washing and more and it feels like we are only getting started. Job Description
Apprentice Residential Window Cleaners
Today is awesome! You loaded your work vehicle the night before with gas, a clean bucket and pole, squeegees, and scrubbers, towels and schedule, and you arrive 5 minutes early to the shop. You take off for the first job. It’s quiet, and there’s no traffic because it’s early. You’ve got the education to understand what’s to be done… now it’s time to roll up your sleeves and put everything into action!
Away you go, place to place, making the windows and ledges look brand new. You present a work order to ensure an excellent customer experience, you hop in your car and go to the next stop on the list. Rinse and repeat, averaging 15 to 20 stops a day and before you know it your day is done! You have a tan, a smile and a full pocket of money! You wrap up and send a “day completed” text to your supervisor. Head back to the shop for a cold soda and a snack, visit for a bit with the other teams. Another day is done and you’re already looking forward to tomorrow. Your day is your own.
Job Duties:
Work with the team: You stay in contact with your supervisor to make sure the day’s work orders are completed efficiently – everyone pitches in because we all have the same responsibility. It’s ultimately about serving the customer.
Develop your expertise: You clean windows, knowing that you’re adding a positive experience to our customers lives through the services we offer, in turn giving them more free time and peace of mind to run their businesses. Over time, you gain a growing expertise in the services we offer.
Become a trusted professional: You keep your tools neat, clean, and well maintained so they’re handy and ready for use and safe. You are VERY detailed oriented. You understand the job-scope, equipment, your work order binder, etc. because you’ll know that this keeps everyone informed – from the customer to the supervisor to the team back at the office.
Pathways to advancement: You will start as a Service Technician with the goal of becoming an Area Supervisor. Once there, you will be trained to manage your team. Your next goal is to grow with the company looking for additional opportunities to further your career. Each pathway to advancement opens doors for more pay. Our window cleaning technicians earn $40,000 to $60,000 per year!
