New Image Brewing is seeking a production team member to assist with packaging, warehouse and cellar operations. Candidates having extensive experience with packaging operations and any amount of cellar experience will be considered for the higher end of the posted range to act as a packaging lead with rotating cellar responsibilities. Candidates with limited to no packaging experience will be considered for an entry level position as a packaging and warehouse assistant.
Duties include but not limited to:
Packaging Lead with Cellar Rotations -
- Leading all packaging operations including canning, kegging and bottling
- Cleaning, maintaining and operating a Wild Goose canning line
- Verifying beverage specifications prior to packaging and measuring quality parameters throughout packaging
- Verifying adherence to quality control parameters for packaging and reporting QC specification for each packaging run
- Reporting and maintaining all pertinent packaging data in our online system
- Maintaining inventory of packaging materials
- Cleaning kegs
- Palletizing kegs and cases
- Transporting finished goods to dry and cold storage
- Operating forklifts and box trucks
- Assisting with miscellaneous cellar tasks including tank CIPs, transfers, dry hopping, carbonation, process measurements and quality control monitoring
Packaging and Warehouse Technician -
- Assisting the packaging lead with canning operations
- Building pallets
- Labeling packaged product
- Housekeeping around the packaging and warehouse areas
- Building orders for distributors and taprooms
- Communicating with admin team
- Operating fork lift & box truck
- Maintaining accurate inventory
- Transporting product between facilities
Qualifications:
Packaging Lead with Cellar Rotations -
- 1-3 years experience operating canning lines, experience with beer and Wild Goose lines preferred
- Extensive knowledge of packaging dynamics, troubleshooting, quality control and workflow
- Experience operating de-palletizing equipment, date coders, labelers and process measurement equipment
- Experience with maintenance for packaging equipment
- Familiarity with cellar tasks preferred
- All qualifications and competencies listed for the packaging and warehouse position
Packaging and Warehouse Technician
- Organized and detail oriented
- Familiar to proficient with spreadsheets
- Familiar to proficient with using CRM software
- Able to work a full day on their feet, lifting 25-50 LBS regularly
- Must posses clean and valid CO drivers license for this position (Non-CDL)
- Forklift and Box Truck experience preferred
- Must pass a background check
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
