We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our hotel team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and order within our guest rooms and common areas. Your primary goal is to provide our guests with a comfortable and enjoyable stay by ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and meeting rooms.
- Restock guest rooms with amenities such as toiletries, towels, and coffee supplies.
- Check rooms for any maintenance issues or damages and report them to the maintenance department.
- Greet guests warmly and address any requests or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collect and launder linens, towels, and other hotel fabrics.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and hotel policies to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Keep track of cleaning supplies and request restocking as needed.
- Handle special cleaning projects or requests as assigned by the supervisor.
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods and lift or move up to 25 pounds.
- Good verbal communication skills to interact with guests and team members.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
