Power Design has an opportunity for a Custodian to join our organization for the overnight shift. Hours will be 6 pm to 2 am.
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Dust furniture, walls, and all vertical and horizontal surfaces.
- Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.
- Request supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Perform general laborer work and miscellaneous tasks as needed and assigned by Facilities Manager or Property Manager.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good client/customer service skills.
- Ability to read, write and understand instructions.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to work effectively with a team.
- Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products or willing to learn.
- 2-3 years commercial verifiable cleaning experience needed.
- Ability to stand or be on feet for good portion of shift.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs on occasion.
- Ability to accommodate an overnight work schedule.
