We have a great opportunity for a full time Houseman in Sarasota (Osprey, FL). The home is a single-family residence, approximately 5k sq. ft. Household consists of a couple and their small dog who spend time between their Sarasota home (Winter months) & their New Jersey home (Summer months). This position requires someone who is very hands on in performing daily maintenance on both the interior and exterior of the home. There are pool and landscape contractors, but ideal candidate will be able to complete light maintenance in between. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day and weekends off with flexibility. Flexibility to also overnight on property in their absence/pet sit.
Job Duties;
- Full responsibility for maintenance & upkeep of the residence, interior and exterior
- Daily grounds cleanup. (Walkways, grill area etc.)
- Organizing garage
- Know how to use cleaning equipment, to include pressure wash etc.
- Perform heavy duty cleaning, Window cleaning etc.
- Pool maintenance & cleaning
- Landscape maintenance (Basic care in between landscaper visits. Pesticide treatment etc.)
- Care for vehicles. Cleaning, oversee maintenance
- Boat cleaning, upkeep and care
- Shopping & running errands
- Driving
- All other houseman related tasks
Requirements:
- Must have prior experience as a houseman with handyman skills in a similar capacity
- Minimum five years recent experience
- Professional references
Compensation & Benefits: $75k to $80k per year based on experience, PTO. Other benefits TBD.
