Job Description:
Description: The Laundry Aide PRN is responsible for performing all duties related to the laundering and processing of all linens and delivery of clean linen to user departments.
Typical Duties:
Performs soiled linen pick up and sorting according to departmental procedures.
Practices infection control measures defined in departmental procedures.
Practices safety control measures defined in departmental procedures.
Performs clean linen processing according to established productivity standards.
Operates machinery according to departmental procedures.
Reports equipment malfunctions to Lead Laundry Tech, or Laundry Maintenance Technician as defined by departmental procedures.
Completes delivery of scrubs and linen to designated areas according to departmental procedures.
Maintains and promotes customer relations, utilizing all available resources to assist the customer and demonstrates respect for the rights and property of others.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
2 years’ experience preferred.
