Vacation Rental Home Cleaner/ Inspector

We are a quickly growing Vacation Rental Management company based in Southeast Florida. We are looking for someone whose primary responsibilty will be cleaning homes, while also providing a supporting role as a home inspector as well.
The ideal candidate wants to get in on the ground floor of a startup and have a broad range of tasks, with the potential to take on a leadership role as we grow. What You’ll Do
Cleaning
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Wash linens and towels and make beds in hotel style
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways and lobbies
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Respond to customer service requests in a timely and professional manner
Inspections
- Inspection of elite & luxury homes after departures and reporting maintenance issues and damages in a timely manner
- Inspecting homes prior to arrival to ensure homes are turned to a high level of cleanliness and items are in good condition & working order to ensure a positive guest experience
- Report and record all maintenance and/or housekeeping deficiencies
- Ensure homes are fully stocked with essential supplies for guests to have an exception experience
- Light maintenance
- Maintain a high standard of property cleanliness
- Maintain good working conditions and ensure luxury home appearance and report to your manager when there are items of concern
- Meet and maintain Standard Unit Appearance, correcting inconsistencies in the homes you enter
- Perform housekeeping duties as required during off-season and/or when business necessitates additional assistance in cleaning units
- Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with fellow regional team members and upper management team
- Checking all appliances, TVs, grills, pool equipment are in good working order and working with your manager to solve any problems and troubleshoot as needed
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques, including stripping and waxing floors
- Familiarity with carpet cleaning methods and equipment
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasksTechnical computer skills required on all forms of hardware - laptops, tablets and mobile devices
- Professional in all forms of communications such as email, phone calls, video calls and text
- Ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions
- Highly responsive and reliable
- Strong attention to detail
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work is required

Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Availability to work Sunday through Saturday, early mornings and evenings as needed.
- Traveling between worksites is frequent and this person will need their own reliable transportation
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for an extended period of time
- Reach overhead and below the waist
- Regularly push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist

How do I check my schedule?
We use a scheduling app on our phones, where you can easily pull up your daily schedule.
How do I get paid?
We pay using direct deposit to your bank account weekly. We use a digital payroll system where you’ll be able to see your weekly payment and pay stubs.
Job requirements:
- Over 21 years of age
- Complete background check
- Authorized to work in the US (citizenship, residence, work permit)
- Must own a vehicle and smartphone
- Valid car insurance and driver's license
- Verifiable work history and references, preferably 1 year or more
- Excellent attitude and work ethic
