Currently we have an open position for a full time Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Scheduled days may vary and will include Saturday and Sunday
- Weekend availability required
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel is required
Primary Responsibilities and Job Duties include:
- Inspect all unassigned/assigned rooms and suites daily, including bed stripping, bathroom cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, checking of room lights, air conditioner unit, television, spot cleaning, and storing all room supplies
- Supervise Room Attendants, including the re-cleaning of any items missed or not cleaned to brand and hotel standards
- Create and assign daily room boards for the housekeeping team. Verify boards are completed before team members leave for the day.
- Complete any necessary work orders and collect all room attendant work orders and forward to maintenance department/GM
- Report any items missing from rooms and suites
- Report all items in need of repair to supervisor and maintain equipment used in work
- Update room status changes as each occurs in Hilton PM. Check for e-check-ins throughout the shift
- Ability to accurately enter data into various office software, Daily HSK Labor Report, Daily Assignments, and necessary Hilton Room Status Changes
- Assign and inspect the following: oasis, exterior lounges, pool area, common areas and stairwells to verify house person has completed all daily duties
- Verify all corridors have been vacuumed properly and corridor temperature(s) are at a comfortable setting
- Clean rooms as needed
- All other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
During the course of performing the physical demands of this position, associates are expected to observe and adhere to safety and security procedures, promoting a safe work environment.
The physical activity normally entails the following attributes.
Position is expected to:
- Stand more than 2/3 of the time
- Walk more than 2/3 of the time
- Sit less than 1/3 of the time
- Lift/Push/Pull up to 50 lbs.
- Push / pull up to 75 pounds with or without assistance
Job Requirements:
*Must be able to stand for extended periods of time *Physical requirements such as able to walk, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, upward reaching and manual dexterity for extended periods of time *Knowledge of the English language to communicate with guests and associates *Ability to accurately report information *Ability to follow all brand and hotel policies & procedures *Be courteous and professionally at all times *Previous experience preferred but not required
