Role Overview: The On-Site Cleaner at Abbey Road Farm is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the entire 82-acre property, including various buildings such as the tasting room, event space, commercial kitchens, restrooms, meeting spaces, and the bed & breakfast. This role is integral in upholding the farm's high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cleaning and Sanitation:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks across multiple buildings and areas, ensuring they meet established standards.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, tasting rooms, meeting spaces, and guest accommodations thoroughly and efficiently.
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and other general cleaning duties as required.
2. Property Maintenance:
- Maintain cleanliness in outdoor areas such as walkways, parking lots, and common spaces on the property.
- Proper disposal of trash and recycling, ensuring waste management protocols are followed.
3. Inventory and Supplies:
- Monitor cleaning supplies and inventory levels, placing orders as needed to ensure adequate stock.
- Safely handle and use cleaning products and equipment following established safety guidelines.
4. Compliance and Reporting:
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines while performing cleaning duties.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly to the relevant authorities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in commercial or hospitality cleaning preferred.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that may require lifting and carrying.
