Myrtie Blue is an event design company servicing 90% of its customers along Florida's Emerald Coast. We offer an energetic, fast-paced, and creative environment.
This is not your average warehouse position. Our climate-controlled warehouse is stocked with a variety of furniture and props used to set up weddings and other events. FORWARD THINKING, CREATIVE, ORGANIZED, HARDWORKING, and OPEN-MINDED individuals will excel in this position. Interested individuals must be comfortable working with other team members, receiving, maintaining and organizing inventory and assisting with event day installations.
Physical workdays can be expected to involve some heavy lifting and ladder work. Work hours require weekends and weekend nights during the wedding season. A typical work week is Tuesday through Friday, 9-5, and Event Days (typically Saturday), 8am-2 am (with longer paid breaks).

ABOUT US: Myrtie Blue is an event design company in Fort Walton Beach, FL. We create thoughtful events, impactful installations, and beautiful floral designs. We design the natural and organic through an unexpected artistic lens - drawing inspiration from gardens, the wild, and local settings. We are florists, builders, makers, gardeners, and creative thinkers, and we are always up for a design challenge or an interesting turn on an idea. We specialize in a cohesive vision that tells a unique story through floral design, furniture, and custom decor. ABOUT THE JOB: Maintaining our warehouse and setting up an event takes patience and attention to detail. It is part of our service to our clients. Our rentals are used often throughout the season so we want them to last. The care that you give to these items is crucial. Tasks throughout each event week can include preparing an order in the warehouse, loading our trucks properly, traveling to events, unloading trucks at events, setting up our inventory in the client’s desired location and style, striking the event (either late at night or early the next day), driving the inventory back to the warehouse, unloading the trucks, and cleaning and restocking the inventory in the warehouse.
