At the Hampton Inn Lexington, we are seeking Room Attendants to join our award winning, amazing team. We are looking for candidates with personality, dedication, patience and motivation. This is a very important role in our hotel that starts with a wonderful first impression for our guests and ends with a magnificent stay at our property.

Room Attendant
- Must be flexible and work when needed and as scheduled
- Must be reliable and willing to work weekends and holidays
- Must be able to bend, stoop and lift
- Pick up rooms reports and keys to assigned areas daily. All keys must be signed out and signed back in at the end of your shift
- Always be cautious not to make excessive noise in the hallways
- Attend and participate in morning meetings
- Clean rooms according to established procedures
- Check-out’s will be done first except in special circumstances
- Be mindful of Do Not Disturb Signs
- Always knock and announce yourself before entering a room
- Place work orders (maintenance tickets) as necessary
- Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property. Report any damage, theft and found articles to Supervisors
- Turn in lost and found daily
- Responsible for keeping the housekeeping carts and closets cleaned and stocked daily
- Must handle various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc. Must comply with all regulations such as OSHA, EPA, State Health Department, etc.
- Always ensure to use the proper labeled bottle when replenishing
- Bring any unsafe or unsanitary conditions to the attention of a Supervisor immediately
- Never let someone unauthorized into a room. You can always refer them to the front desk
•Always check with a supervisor for additional duties to be completed after you have finished your rooms
