Welcome Home! Belmark is seeking an individual to join our team at our Pressure Sensitive plant in De Pere, WI. You may be wondering - what do we do here at Belmark? Well, we create many of the labels, cartons, and flexible film we as consumers see daily when shopping for various items. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting operators on the floor by ensuring the proper equipment, tools, and materials are staged by their machines. This also includes the removal of equipment, tools, and materials once the operators are done using them. Increased production efficiency should be the result of these efforts. Responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the area to the standards set in place. May cross train and fill in on the equipment if or when needed. Schedule:
- 3rd shift hours are from 6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m., Sunday, 12:00 a.m.-6:00 a.m., Monday - Thursday
- 3rd shift works 36 hours but gets paid for 40
Pay:
- $20.40 - $24 per Hour. The hourly rate for this position is determined by the level of the role, relevant experience, and may incorporate shift differentials, ensuring fair compensation that reflects both expertise and responsibilities entailed.
- The shift differential for 3rd shift is $2.00 more per hour
What will I do in this role?
- Responsible to follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements.
- Ensure proper equipment and materials are at press, according to job instructions, prior to press setup.
- Follow press operator’s instructions (i.e. stacking sheeted product, refilling solvent bottles, changing rolls, cleaning ink stations, etc.) to assist with press setup, press operation and press cleanup.
- Responsible for the overall appearance of the production area (i.e. washing ink pans and doctor blades, throwing out garbage, sweeping the floor, etc.).
- Maintain supply levels at each press.
- May operate a press to backup press operator.
- May mix inks.
- May mount plates on cylinders.
- May bring stock from warehouse to press.
- May make plates.
- May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Properly dispose of waste ink, spent solvents, and other designated waste according to hazardous waste handling guidelines

Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires education equivalent to two (2) years of high school.
- Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple written and oral instructions.
- Knowledge of the English language.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions.
- Ability to meet deadlines. May be required to work some overtime.
- Requires nearly constant concentration and attention to detail.
- Ability to: stand and walk for 90% of work time; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for 10% of work time.
- Ability to: see clearly at 20 inches or less; see clearly at 20 feet or more; identify and distinguish colors; observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point; judge distances and spatial relationships; and to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.
- Ability to: use hands for 100% of work time (i.e. wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.); reach above shoulders for 50% of work time; and use feet to operate machines for 30% of work time.
- Ability to lift: 10 pounds or less 30% of work time; 25 pounds or less 30% of work time; 50 pounds or less 25% of work time; and greater than 50 pounds 15% of work time.
- May lift up to 100 pounds on occasion.
- May be required to use sense of smell.
