Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Housekeeper will ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, operational, and attractive condition to meet members' satisfaction.
Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, and cleaning the facility daily to meet members' needs. The Housekeeper will clean and maintain floors, carpets, walls, windows, tiled areas, showers, restrooms, and other surfaces. They will ensure that supplies such as soap and paper towels are replenished regularly and that waste bins are emptied. Additionally, the Housekeeper will perform all housekeeping duties, report building issues, and maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies. They will utilize a preventative maintenance and cleaning schedule to keep equipment and the facility in peak operational condition.
The ideal candidate will have six months or more of experience in housekeeping. They should have knowledge of cleaning products and equipment, with basic maintenance knowledge being beneficial. The role requires sufficient physical strength and agility to perform essential duties, the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds, and the capability to use equipment and chemicals correctly, including reading labels, MSDS information sheets, and instructions. The candidate must also be able to identify and resolve potential safety and security issues and handle demanding individuals calmly and courteously.

Winter/Spring/Fall
Monday-Friday
8 am-12 pm
2 pm-7 pm
Two Saturdays Per Month (Rotation)
8 am-3 pm
Summer Hours Will Vary
- Bilingual a plus but not mandatory
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Operate a pallet jack
- Set up for events on occasion
