What We’ll Accomplish Together:
As a team lead your responsibilities revolve around providing excellent services to members and guests. These include:
- Answering phone calls and texts.
- Setting appointments and checking members and guests in and out for appointments and taking payments.
- Greeting members and guests upon arrival.
- Promoting the Unlimited Bath & Brush Program.
- Keeping management apprised of member concerns and following policies, procedures and direction.
- Accepting constructive criticism in a positive manner and using it as a learning tool.
- Upholding the petbar brand’s core values of optimism, gratitude, excellence, consistency and empathy.
- Staying updated on retail products and promotions.
- Creating and maintaining positive relationships with team members.
- Interact with and lead full service bathers on daily tasks.
- Guiding/setting up self service bath guests
- Keeping the front desk area, lobby and self service wash area clean and sanitized and prep tubs and rooms for next guest as well as deep clean at end of shift.
- Laundering of towels throughout the day.
- Assisting bathers with washing dogs as needed, or jump in as needed to wash dogs.
- Assuring pets safety and happiness
- Perform quality assurance checks prior to presenting pets to their pet parents.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must perform well in a high-energy, fast-paced environment and work well both individually and in a team environment.
- Must be able to multi task and manage time with or without supervision.
- Smiling face! Attitude is most important in this role
- Passion for animals
- Confident handing of dogs and cats of all sizes and temperament
- Superior customer service skills (prompt, courteous, professional)
- Professional and neat appearance in compliance with dress code
- Must feel comfortable working in a loud environment
- Reliable transportation
- Willing to work at least two Saturdays per month
- Ability to stand for 6-8 hour shifts as well as lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to comfortable using and learning computer/iPad software
- Social Media Management experience is a plus.
- Hours worked per week are based on business volume and demand; Saturday and some holiday availability is a must. We are open Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM and Saturday 10AM-6PM.
