Job Description- Cleanup/Janitorial Worker
Dansons, also known for two major brands in the BBQ industry Pit Boss & Louisiana Grills.
We are currently in search of an individual responsible for Clean Up in the Pellet Plant. This position will be responsible for ensuring that the plant floor & equipment is clean & free of dust. Have open and clear communication with Shift Foreman on recurring sources of sawdust leaks.
Essential Duties:
· Responsible for general cleaning of the building and around industrial mill machinery.
· Able to use and operate the following equipment:
o broom, shovel and mop
o pressure washer
o other cleaning equipment as necessary
· Cleaning and stocking restrooms
· Cleaning and stocking breakrooms
· Assist with cleaning truck trailers, as necessary.
· Adheres to company safety policies and OSHA standards.
· Maintains a safe, neat, orderly accident-free work environment, including all warehouse work areas, aisles, trucks, etc.
· Inventories cleaning supplies & tools.
· Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Supervision Received:
This position takes direction from the Shift Foreman and reports to the Production Supervisor.
Physical Demands and Environment:
· Must be able to lift and carry 50-pound loads.
· Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
· Must be able to work for extended periods under a wide range of ambient conditions.
· Must be able to work flexible hours.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Must be able to work in an elevated temperature/ humidity area
· Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required for this position, as applicable for the role:
· Hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots, gloves, respirators
· The Company provides training on the proper usage of PPE.
· · Work outdoors much of the time.

Education, Experience and Training:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
- Janitorial: 1 year (Preferred)
- Cleaning warehouse/mill: 1 year (Preferred)
