**Janitor** **Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment, ensuring that our facilities are safe and welcoming for all occupants. **Responsibilities:** - Perform commercial cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces - Conduct floor care duties including vacuuming, mopping, and waxing floors - Execute industrial cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness in manufacturing areas - Assist with residential painting projects as needed - Handle buffing tasks to keep floors shiny and presentable - Ensure all areas are clean and sanitized following established protocols - Support porter duties by emptying trash receptacles and maintaining cleanliness in common areas - Perform custodial duties to uphold cleanliness standards throughout the facility - Contribute to facilities maintenance by identifying and reporting maintenance issues promptly **Skills:** - Proficient in commercial cleaning techniques - Knowledge of floor care procedures including waxing and buffing - Experience in industrial cleaning practices - Ability to assist with residential painting projects is a plus - Strong attention to detail to ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained - Familiarity with custodial duties and best practices - Understanding of facilities maintenance requirements Join our team as a Janitor and play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment for our occupants.
