RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervision of Common Areas Cleaning Staff
- Responsible for scheduling staff
- Follow up to ensure completion of needed tasks by staff
- Responsible for keeping the common areas around the buildings, walkway, parking lot areas, roadways, areas around the pool, medians, around the exterior perimeter of the community and any other common areas impeccable always.
- Remove litter, garbage, and debris.
- Remove landscaping debris from all common areas.
- Remove graffiti from stop signs and other signs as well from electrical and cable boxes. Report damaged and missing signs.
- Remove debris from around, in between and under all common area’s hedges.
- Blow with blower all sidewalks and streets as needed.
- Pressure cleaning of all entrances and walkways.
- Painting of all common area curbing’s, planters, bulletin boards, fences, walls, monuments signs, fire hydrants, street signs posts, light posts, street strips and speed bumps.
- Clean hallways, lobbies and elevators
- Vacuum, sweep, scrub, wax and polish floors using brooms, mops or powered machines
- Dust and polish furniture
- Wash windows, walls, doors as necessary
- Remove debris from Spa area and organize the Spa furniture
- Empty trash containers in common areas
- Disinfect equipment and supplies using germicides
- Clean and stock restrooms
- Observe and report any maintenance needs or unusual issues in common areas, including hallways, lobby, elevators, grounds and parking garage
- Submit re-order requests to maintain adequate inventory of supplies and equipment
- Maintain a neat and organized cleaning storage area
- Complete a daily report(s) and check list(s)
- Other duties as assigned
Physical, Mental and Visual Skills
Good organizational and verbal skills. Ability to use logical and rational thinking to resolve issues.
Ability to perform basic mathematical skills, monitor and develop subordinates, visually monitor the operation areas, write and read member communication.
Must have the ability to perform moderate physical work and may be required to lift up to 60 lbs., up to 30 lbs. frequently and up to 10 lbs. constantly. Perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting.
Working Conditions
Works indoor/outdoors. Potential exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement, sharp
utensils, harmful chemicals and or solvents if proper safety procedures are not followed.
