Job Description
All About Flooring Clean Team is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented, experienced Commercial Carpet Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing high-quality commercial carpet cleaning services to residential clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Carpet Cleaning Services:
- Operate carpet cleaning equipment to clean carpets, upholstery, and rugs.
- Apply appropriate cleaning agents and techniques to remove stains, odors, and dirt.
- Perform pre-cleaning inspections, move furniture and perform post-cleaning evaluations with clients.
Customer Interaction:
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their cleaning needs.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Educate customers on carpet care and maintenance best practices.
Equipment and Vehicle Maintenance:
- Maintain and clean carpet cleaning equipment after each job.
- Ensure company vehicles are kept in good working condition and report any issues.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and order new supplies as necessary.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to company safety protocols and guidelines.
- Handle and dispose of cleaning agents safely and responsibly.
- Follow all regulatory and compliance standards in carpet cleaning operations.
Scheduling and Reporting:
- Manage daily schedule of cleaning appointments efficiently.
- Complete and submit detailed reports on each cleaning job.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and customer interactions.
Other tasks on an as-needed basis.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in carpet cleaning is required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate and maintain carpet cleaning equipment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting heavy objects.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 85 pounds.
- Comfortable with bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to handle cleaning equipment and supplies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay:
- $18 - $22 per hour
- Quarterly bonus
