POSITION SUMMARY
As a Housekeeper, you have the important job of creating a positive first impression for new prospects and keeping our current residents happy by maintaining the overall cleanliness of our leasing office, common areas, and hallways. You’ll also help to prepare our vacant apartments for new residents.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality of Work (20%)
Fully cleans units or resident areas according to quality standards, including windows, floors, restrooms, carpets, and surfaces.
Fully cleans property common areas and leasing offices according to quality standards.
Works independently with minimal supervision and provides valuable support to property operations.
Work Schedules (20%)
Completes all assigned housekeeping and cleaning tasks according to the daily work schedule.
Identifies the most efficient way to safely complete the scheduled workload and makes good use of available time.
Organization and Restocking (20%)
Maintains and organizes housekeeping supplies and proactively notifies supervisor of supply needs.
Ensures facilities and units are well maintained and stocked, including replacing light bulbs, restocking restroom supplies, and emptying trash on schedule.
Understands resident/property schedules and performs housekeeping work to minimize any disruptions.

Regulations and Safety (10%)
Correctly operates all housekeeping/cleaning equipment with required PPE and safely stores all cleaning chemicals.
Maintains safe work habits by following all company safety standards and procedures.
Keeps common areas uncluttered and proactively addresses potentially dangerous situations.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Personal Competencies
- Courteous, friendly, and polite personality
- Able to work independently with minimal direction
Physical Requirements
- Able to work for long periods of time on feet
- Able to work in confined spaces
- Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
Minimum Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired Work Experience
- 2+ years of professional housekeeping experience
- 2+ years experience in multifamily housekeeping preferred
