Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities. This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for our employees and visitors.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed
- Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and ensure all assigned areas are cleaned thoroughly
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor promptly
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent time management skills to ensure all duties are completed within designated timeframes
