POSITION TITLE: Custodial Guest Services Associate
REPORTS TO: Custodial Guest Services Manager, Custodial Guest Services Supervisor, and Custodial Guest Services Team Lead.

PERCENTAGE OF FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT: Full-Time
POSITION SUMMARY:
A Custodial Guest Services (CGS) Associate is responsible for the daily cleaning, both interior and exterior of the aquarium. To provide both guests and staff a safe and sanitized atmosphere by keeping the facility neat, orderly, and clean. This position requires open availability for weekdays and weekends. This position also involves cross training on others shift times, and the readiness to work other shift times if needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Perform general janitorial responsibilities (such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, scrubbing, trash removal, restroom care, sanitization, etc.) with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Utilize all types of cleaning equipment, as well as properly maintain all kinds of cleaning equipment (such as floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, floor burnisher, etc.).
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely according to manufacturer labeling and/or Clearwater Marine Aquarium policy.
- Perform special cleaning tasks/work orders as directed by the Custodial Guest Services Manager, Custodial Guest Services Supervisor, and Custodial Guest Services Team Lead.
- Clean bodily fluid spills as needed according to Clearwater Marine Aquariums policies and procedures.
- Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures when preforming all janitorial responsibilities.
- Perform light maintenance tasks, and safely operate hand tools when directed by the Custodial Guest Services Manager, Custodial Guest Services Supervisor, and Custodial Guest Services Team Lead (such as replacing lightbulbs, ceiling tiles, etc.).
- Assist in maintenance projects as directed by the Custodial Guest Services Manager, Custodial Guest Services Supervisor, and Custodial Guest Services Team Lead
- Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures when preforming all light maintenance tasks.
- Carry a provided company radio and earpiece at all times during the shift, and efficiently respond to radio calls for all E/O needs.
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 3 years janitorial experience preferred.
- 1-year customer service experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of cleaning maintenance equipment, supplies, chemicals, techniques, and procedures.
