Payment Structure and Terms:
- Initial Payment: During the initial two-week trial period, pay is set at $15/hour. Cleaners are expected to work daily appointments Monday through Saturday.
- Post-Trial Payment: After successfully completing the trial, payment increases to between $18-$22/hour on new* cleanings depending on performance and trial metrics.
- Earnings Model Transition: After 3-6 months, cleaners who consistently meet our standards and maintain open availability Monday through Saturday will be eligible to earn 50% of the job earnings instead of an hourly rate. This shift reflects our commitment to retaining top talent and recognizing their contribution to servicing our top clients.
- Penalties: During the trial period, penalties of up to $45 will be imposed for missed appointments, last-minute cancellations, or no-shows.
- Background Check: Costs for background checks are required upfront but will be reimbursed after the first successful week of work. A minimum of five appointments must be completed to our standards during the trial period for further consideration.
Temporary Contract Offer:
All subcontractors will be offered a temporary contract following their trial period. Upon successful completion, an assessment will be made to determine their eligibility to join the team on a more permanent basis.
Position Description:
Affordable Cleaning Today is seeking skilled hybrid cleaners for a full-contract independent contractor role. This position combines supporting a supervisor and taking on independent cleaning assignments. It’s ideal for those seeking dedicated employment with flexibility and support. Cleaners will perform 2 to 3 cleanings a day.
Job Requirements:
- Work Schedule: Monday through Saturday, with cleaning appointments starting at 10:00 a.m.; the latest appointment accepted at 2:00 p.m. Cleaners may work until 6:00 p.m., based on job duration. Note: There are no night shifts available.
- Location Flexibility: Job sites within a maximum one-hour drive from New Port Richey, including Spring Hill, Lutz, Land O' Lakes, Weeki Wachee, Brooksville, Trinity, Holiday, Port Richey, and more.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Professional Cleaning Experience: Strong background in cleaning services, including deep cleans and move-out cleanings, with an eye for detail and efficiency.
- Independent Contractor Expertise: Proven ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and interact directly with clients.
- Technology-Savvy: Must own a smartphone to use our cleaning app for scheduling and communication.
- Vehicle and Supplies: Reliable transportation and your own cleaning equipment to service multiple locations.
- Excellent Time Management: Ability to manage a flexible yet consistent schedule effectively.
- Strong Communication Skills: Readily available for communications; must be able to take calls and respond promptly.
