Appointment Setter - Canvasser - Sales Support
Location
Canvassing and appointment setting will occur throughout the greater Denver, Colorado area. You will be required to report in person, daily to our office located at 1357 E 73rd Ave, Denver, CO 80229. Most work will happen outside of our office, but reporting daily to the office is a must.
Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Appointment Setter to join our team for a rewarding opportunity that could kickstart a lucrative portal of entry into a career in sales or customer service.
You will be working alongside the Director of Operations and Sales Representatives to schedule quality appointments with potential customers. You will mainly do the research of leads, initiate conversation with prospects to seek out the contact info for the decision maker and set an appointment for the closer.
This role is perfect for those who love a vibrant work day and would enjoy getting out of the office and engaging with the community.
Knowledge in the window cleaning industry would be a great benefit, but not necessary. You will be responsible for getting an appointment set, but never for closing the deal.
Love for people and no fear of rejection are two very important qualities you must possess.

Looking for someone that has the ability to communicate out of kindness and gentleness, despite a “non-interested” person in front of them. You must be confident and not get offended easily. Ability to build rapport quickly. You will be required to provide excellent customer service throughout the appointment setting process. You ultimately are the first face of our company to these prospects.

Key Responsibilities
- Locate contact info for Building Engineers and Property Managers: Research and locate the contact information for the decision makers at each building that we could provide window cleaning services to. This will involve daily phone calls, emails and in-person canvassing.
- Qualify Prospects: Assess and qualify various prospects in Denver, Colorado. Determine what prospects would make great customers and align with our company’s vision.
- Set Appointments: Schedule appointments with building engineers or property managers for our sales representative to learn about our company and what window cleaning services we offer.
- Database Management: Manage and track detailed communication and contact efforts for each prospect. Ability to communicate very clearly on all information gathered as well as appointment details.
Requirements
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills on the phone, in person and via email. Strong negotiation skills to secure appointments effectively.
- Computer Skills: Computer savvy is necessary. Will need to learn how to navigate the intricacies of a CRM software. Ability to search via the internet to find prospects. Proficiency in market research and identifying potential leads is vital.
- Characteristics: Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a self-starter approach. Love people. Optimistic. Motivated by goals. Detailed.
- Experience: Prior experience in sales, canvassing or appointment setting is beneficial, but not required. Experience in fundraising, sales, or customer service is preferred.
- Team Oriented: You will be collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth appointment scheduling and effective follow up.
Compensation and Benefits
- Commission-Based Pay: Competitive base pay plus profit sharing-commission structure, with potential for significant earnings based on performance. Base pay is based on previoius experience. This position is intended for a portal of entry into sales or sales support.
- Bonuses: Opportunity to earn additional goal bonuses.
- Set Hours: There will be set hours each day, but then some additional flexible hours throughout week. More or less Monday – Friday 8am-4pm.
