Job Summary:
Ware’s Jewelers is seeking a retail sales associate that can provide excellent customer service. As Bradenton’s longest standing jewelry store (51 years and counting!) Customer service sets us apart and is vital to our day-to-day operations. Applicants with strong communication skills and a welcoming, positive attitude will stand out during the interview process! Working under the supervision of the store manager, the associate may perform tasks such as presenting jewelry, closing sales, inspecting jewelry, delivering completed repair, custom and special-order jobs to the guest. As a sales associate your role is to assist the guests throughout their buying process. The associate must be able to perform cashier duties along with documentation of each repair or sales transaction.
In this role you will be expected to be willing to learn the necessary skills in describing the jewelry for the customer. This entails being trained on the correct gemstone/diamond type as well as the specific cuts and setting types. The sales associate will also be trained on warranties that are offered within the store.
The sales associate is expected to assist the team in weekly cleaning responsibilities within the store. This includes jewelry case cleaning, vacuuming, moping, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Reliable transport and prompt arrival for shift
· Must be a good communicator, problem solver, and have a result driven attitude
· Must be able to utilize retail technology (POS system, IPAD, cashier functions)
· Willing to work in a team/family environment
· Able to take direction and multi-task
· Desire to learn and grow within the jewelry industry
· Must be available Saturday’s and most major holidays
