Job Title: Janitor
THIS POSITION IS 8am-5pm SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS ONLY.
Overview:
Join our team as a Janitor and play a vital role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our facility. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness and comfort, contributing to a positive atmosphere for all occupants.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various janitorial tasks including floor care and sanitation.
- Clean and maintain designated areas such as restrooms, break rooms, and common spaces.
- Handle custodial duties efficiently, including trash disposal and recycling management.
- Execute commercial cleaning procedures to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines consistently while onsite.
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly to the supervisor.
Experience:
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning, custodial services, or facilities maintenance is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail in performing janitorial duties effectively.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Physical stamina to engage in standing, bending, and lifting activities during the shift while in hot conditions.

- Proficiency in handling cleaning chemicals safely following established protocols.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors effectively.
