Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to oversee our housekeeping operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel or commercial cleaning, with proven leadership and supervisory skills. As the Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of all areas within our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of housekeeping staff, including training.
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed
- Address guest complaints or concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and effectively
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to address any repairs or maintenance issues
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of hotel or commercial cleaning practices and procedures
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of laundering techniques and equipment is preferred
- Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
