Job Description:
Responsible for ensuring Imagine Baking cleaning policies, perform daily sanitation inspections, and oversee the duties of the sanitation crew in which you will be working alongside.
Job duties include coordination and tracking of cleaning routines as well as creating and dissemination work schedules for the sanitation staff. Also, you will manage the Master Sanitation Schedule. The Sanitation Supervisor will report directly to the QA Manager and Food Safety Director.
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment required
- Detailed knowledge of the food industry and a good eye for detail.
- Knowledge of allergen cleaning (The big 9 allergens)
- Complete all required quality and food safety training.
- Prioritize and assign daily sanitation tasks and coordinate sanitation issues and activities within the department and among other appropriate departments.
- Responsible for ensuring all areas of the site are maintained at high sanitation levels.
- Train employees in sanitation and sanitation related procedures and programs.
- Participate, drive, improve, and sustain Food Safety & Sanitation Activities at the site.
- Ensure all scheduled cleaning processes are completed correctly, legibly and in a timely manner.
- Ensure sanitation chemicals, supplies, and tools are stocked and available.
- Assists in maintaining Master Sanitation Schedule in an "audit ready” state.
- Assists with maintaining plant Sanitation Manual by including updates to Sanitation SOP's and developing new ones.
- Initiates a root cause analysis and document the corrective action taken in response to Environmental Program issues related to sanitation.
- Assists in maintaining and enhancing the Chemical Control Program including ordering, receiving, transporting, storing, inventory, labeling, SDS's, diluting, and use of sanitation chemicals.
- Recommends improvements to the Sanitation Program, Environmental Program, Pest Control Program, and others as appropriate.
- GMP's, Allergen Program, Quality, HACCP, Sanitation, and Safety.
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role preferred.
- Understanding of GMPs, SSOPs, and food safety and quality audits.
- Speak, read, and write English with proficiency.
- Forklift and Aerial Lift experience preferred.
- Computer proficient with experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Studies production schedules and estimates hours required by associate to complete job assignment.
- Ability to work on and climb ladders.
- Validates sanitation effectiveness with visual inspection and swab performance (ATP, Microbial, Allergen) and chemical concentrations for program compliance.
- Complete pre-operational inspections of equipment and documents findings.
- Ensures that minimum downtime is experienced during sanitation and pre-operational inspections.
- Properly, accurately and timely complete all satiation documentation.
- Able to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- Contribute to Quality incident investigations (non-conformances, complaints, audits etc.).
- Prepare production equipment for cleaning by following proper LOTO procedures.
- Responsible for disassembling, cleaning and sanitizing of all food-processing equipment, including storage areas, handling any and all line clean ups and the documentation for clean ups, enforcing all safety rules and regulations, monitoring the inventory of cleaning equipment and cleaning supplies.
- Maintain plant cleanliness in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety standards.
- Enforce all elements of food safety within the plant.
- Constant use of high-pressure hot water hose.
- Ability to work in high /cold temperatures and wet environments.
- Prefer at least one year of continuous manufacturing employment work history.
- Post offer Background screen required.
