PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain a safe, neat, and clean work area by adhering to SanMar’s safety regulations.
- Daily cleaning and sanitizing of building to include, but not limited to, trash removal, sweeping, and mopping of floors in restrooms and break room, vacuuming carpets in offices and showroom.
- Restock supplies in restrooms and break room as needed.
- Effectively communicate with the supervisors and Management regarding any needs or concerns in a timely fashion.
- May be required to maintain a daily log of tasks assigned and completed.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:
- Ability to work with customers and co-workers and keep a positive, supportive attitude towards the Company and job.
- Demonstrates ability to follow directions and change priorities or job duties as business needs require.
- Ability to work in high-demand, high-volume environment and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge on floor care, floor care chemicals, sanitizers and building maintenance equipment preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Must be self-disciplined to stay on tasks.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent organization skills; demonstrating the ability to multi-task and prioritize daily responsibilities.
- Must comply with all internal Personal Protective Equipment requirements.
- Must be detail-oriented with the ability to recognize areas that need immediate attention and respond promptly.
- Comprehend verbal and written instructions.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $9.25 - $10.50 per hour
