Overview of Role:
We are looking for a motivated housekeeper to support the delivery of an exceptional guest experience. The candidate will take complete ownership of the property’s cleanliness, covering guest rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and event spaces. Collaborating with staff and other departments, the housekeeper will ensure high cleanliness standards and proper maintenance, driving guest service levels. The ideal candidate is experienced in housekeeping or cleaning services, highly dependable, thorough, and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.
Responsibilities:
- Guest Rooms and Bathrooms: Clean and prepare guest rooms and bathrooms daily for new check-ins. This includes mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, changing linens, and placing room amenities.
- Room Refresh: Refresh guest rooms as needed, ensuring all items and amenities are stocked.
- Common Areas: Clean common areas, including grounds, event hall, lounge, plaza, common bathrooms, and pool bar.
- Laundry Management: Handle in-house laundry management, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing company and pool linens.
- Supply Management: Maintain organized housekeeping supplies, track usage, and sort incoming deliveries.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience in hotels, hospitals, or multi-unit housing as a Housekeeping or Cleaning Supervisor with a strong attention to detail.
- Positive, professional, hardworking, enthusiastic, and flexible attitude.
- Thorough and detail-oriented, taking ownership of high-quality work.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, which are the busiest times.
- Ability to stay organized and perform well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Physical stamina to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 30 pounds or more without assistance.
- Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Good communication skills; outgoing, friendly, and able to speak professionally with guests, managers, and colleagues.
Requirements for Employment:
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Availability to work variable shifts on both weekdays and weekends.
- Willingness to work in indoor and outdoor settings, including all-weather conditions (rain, wind, heat, etc.).
- Sufficient English proficiency is preferred.
- Must be able to easily commute daily to Wimberley, TX.
